THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a full-time Production Estimator to join our Point Cook office. As a Production Estimator, you are responsible for maintaining quality of work, high levels of accuracy and meeting the required turn around times for all work produced.

Some key accountabilities of this role include:

• Providing accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
• Complete set tasks and achieve job targets within designated time frames
• Obtain relevant quotes and pricing (non-standard)
• Offer technical support to team members and sales staff
• Maintain organised files and appropriate documentation of completed work
• Provide support to site supervisors

This is a fantastic and supportive team who know how to have a laugh and help each other out when the going gets tough.

WHO YOU ARE

Previous estimating experience within the building and construction industry would be highly advantageous, as would a tertiary/TAFE qualification in estimating, however, the right attitude and willingness to learn is more important in order to be successful in this role.

Knowledge of Residential Building Code and Australian Standards is required, along with strong analytical skills and the capability to interpret technical drawings. 

You will be an exceptional communicator be able to work with your team in order to achieve set targets and KPIs. High attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills will ensure that you are successful in this role.
