We are seeking a Maintenance and Warranty Manager to oversee the maintenance and warranty team for Madisson Homes (part of Simonds Group). This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Chief Construction Officer.

As the Maintenance & Warranty Manager, your primary focus is to oversee all activities associated with the Madisson Maintenance & Warranty team to ensure all work is carried out on time and the works are completed to the highest standard within budget. This can include tasks such as:

  • Provide your team Leadership and clear direction
  • Manage all inboard Warranty enquires including the recording and allocation of any inspections
  • Assess all Warranty enquires to validate if an inspection is warranted before committing to undertake an inspection
  • Arrange and coordinate all required Warranty inspections
  • Ensure all Maintenance/Warranty enquires are satisfactorily completed in line with Simonds/Madisson processes and timelines
  • Liaise with staff daily to ensure jobs are running to program and any roadblocks are discussed
  • Provide Weekly reporting that captures all active jobs and expenditure
  • Provide a 6 monthly report that captures all completed jobs and costs, active jobs and future exposure jobs
  • Always review current practices with view to identify areas of improvement and efficiency
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy across all Maintenance activities
  • Actively assist People & Culture in recruitment activities
  • Performance management, including but not limited to 3 and 6 month staff performance reviews.


  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Advanced understanding of residential building (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a similar role/residential building is essential, specifically all aspects of Warranty works
  • Hold a current drivers license
  • Satisfy the State Government COVID requirements
  • Have the relevant Construction Industry WHS induction (white card)
  • Have a sound understanding of Australian building codes and regulations
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to lead, mentor and support a diverse team in order to achieve common goals
  • Commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest level of customer service
  • Proven and effective dispute resolution and negotiation skills
  • Advanced computer literacy across the Microsoft Office Suite and other platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
