THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a full-time, maximum term Gallery Consultant to join our busy Adelaide office for up to 12 months covering parental leave. As a Gallery Consultant, your primary focus is to provide comprehensive and outstanding support and assistance to our clients through the design, colour and electrical selections for their new homes (or investment). 

Some responsibilities of this role include:

• Provide clients with suggestions, guidance and advice on design, product, colour, lighting and electrical options for their new home
• Accurately document changes, selections and upgrades; write detailed variations
• Assist clients, sales and other departments with product, colour and electrical questions and amendments
• Host gallery tours
• Stay up to date on new, emerging market trends and product knowledge

WHO YOU ARE

Naturally, we are seeking people with a passion for colour, design and new interior design trends. Understanding the meaning of delivering excellent customer service is also a must. If you've got previous experience in interior or lighting design within residential building and construction, even better! If not, that's okay too! These roles are also open to budding interior designers so if you're still at uni or just graduated then we'd love to hear from you.

Don't get us wrong, this can be a demanding role at times where solid administrative skills can be just as important as creativity, so the ability to meet deadlines and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are essential. You will be an exceptional communicator and able to build rapport with a diverse client group. Flexible work habits and the ability to positively contribute to a dynamic team in order to achieve set targets and KPIs is also crucial.
