We are seeking a full time Contract Presenter to prepare and present tender documents to Simonds clients, based out of our Loganholme office. Some key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Prepare contract and tender documents when required, including HIA Preparation, Contract Specifications, Contract Plans and any other documents as required
  • Present contract and tender documents to clients, including detailed explanation of contracts (particularly HIA), plans and specifications
  • Raise post contract variations (PCV’s) and building variations (BV’s) with Estimating and where applicable
  • Manage all client bookings and meetings, including appointment follow ups
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to a diverse range of clientele, ensuring that every experience is a positive one
  • Assist the wider Operations team to work through and resolve client grievances or disputes as well as any ad hoc administration


Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Intermediate/advanced administrative and computer literacy skills
  • Experience in a similar role and/or a building and construction customer service position would be highly advantageous 
  • High attention to detail
  • Current, detailed working knowledge of Housing Industry Association (HIA) contractual requirements and a commitment to maintaining currency of this knowledge
  • A positive and self-motivated attitude
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to how and when work is undertaken
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and consultation skills
  • An understanding of the meaning of and importance of providing excellent customer service
