We are seeking a Maintenance and Warranty Supervisor to join our VIC Metro North West team. This key role will ensure all maintenance related tasks on Simonds Homes are resolved in a timely manner and are carried out to a high standard. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager some key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Arrange and undertake maintenance and warranty inspections
  • Liaise with contractors, trades, and/or staff to carry out required maintenance work
  • Manage job costings, ensuring that all labour and material costs are within the specified budget
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing any concerns quickly and accurately
  • Keep accurate records of all works undertaken and associated costs
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager on various jobs and escalating issues when necessary
  • Adhere to and enforce safe work practices on all jobs in line with WHSE legislation and Simonds policy


Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in a similar role and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Extensive knowledge of construction practices and guidelines
  • Proven experience in managing a varied portfolio of clients simultaneously (Aftercare or account management experience desirable)
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and consultation skills
  • Expertise in providing high level customer service for a range of complex matters
  • An ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with a range of key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
