THE OPPORTUNITY

This important role will work to support trainers and students through their enrolment process and also support them across their studies to maximise their opportunities for completion of their qualification. This full-time role will be based out of our Tweed Heads Office. Part-time work (minimum 30 hr week) can also be arranged for the right candidate.

We are seeking a motivated individual who has a keen eye for detail, high level customer service skills and holds a good working knowledge of supporting teams and students aligned with compliance and data reporting requirements in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).  

Key Tasks include;

  • Providing accurate enrolment advice and support to a variety of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Working with students to complete enrolments towards them beginning their studies with CWBTS;
  • Accurately collect all information including evidence required against funding eligibility requirements;
  • Communicating effectively with students, employers, parents, and apprenticeship centres in relation to student enrolment processes and training activity, including providing updates in relation to the progress of students undertaking an apprenticeship or traineeship with CWBTS;
  • Accurately and efficiently using student data systems including VETtrak to process student data, including apprentice and trainee enrolment and training activity; and
  • Acting as a first point of contact for all stakeholders and visitors.

ABOUT YOU

This role will suit those who have previous customer service experience and who have worked within an RTO supporting customers towards positive outcomes.  

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to effectively work within a customer service environment, preferably within the VET sector;
  • Strong customer service experience, including a proven record of meeting and exceeding targets/KPIs;
  • Hold an operational knowledge of requirements and eligibility in relation to Smart & Skilled and Skills Assure funding contract obligations;
  • Strong data quality and administration experience, to ensure accurate student records are maintained;
  • Experience using a student management system – VETtrak (highly desired);
  • Able to effectively engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Qualifications in training and assessment, business administration, customer service or similar will be highly regarded.
