We are seeking a Receptionist to join our Traralgon office. This key role will receive incoming calls and provide high quality customer service to our clients as well as administrative support to the wider operations team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, some key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Welcome all clients and visitors upon entering Simonds premises
  • Answer internal and external calls
  • Ensure all mail received is distributed to each department and outgoing mail is ready for pick-up
  • Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of all courier deliveries
  • Ensure that the reception and common area is well presented
  • General administration tasks as requested
  • Some event coordination tasks as requested


Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:

  • 2+ years’ previous experience in an administration/reception role in an office-based environment
  • Experience within the Building and Construction Industry, desired but not essential
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a strong ability to develop rapport with key stakeholders
  • A positive and self-motivated attitude
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
