We are seeking an Estimating Team Leader to be based at our South Morang office, providing support and leadership to our VIC Metro North region. Leading a team of Estimators in this busy region, some of the key accountabilities within this role are:

  • Leading and managing an estimating team in sales and production
  • Travelling to our regional offices on occasion and/or when required
  • Preparing accurate sales/production estimates e.g. site costs
  • Estimating work flow scheduling
  • Achieving estimating production targets
  • Interpretation of client variations
  • Liaise with internal and external customers including supervisors and suppliers
  • Producing purchase orders and bills of quantities
  • Provide support to site supervisors and sales consultants
  • Assisting People and Culture in the hire of new staff, performance management, etc.


We're looking for someone who has 5+ years estimating experience in the construction or a related industry, in addition to building industry product knowledge. A tertiary/TAFE building qualification or experience in residential building, production and/or sales is also required or equivalent industry experience. 

Knowledge of the Residential Building Code and Australian Standards and competency in using estimating software is also required, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

You will be an exceptional communicator who has experience in leading a team - we'd love to meet someone who knows how to effectively support and mentor their team. A strong customer focus, the ability to multi-task and have a flexible approach to work are pivotal to being successful in this role.
