We are seeking a IT Operations Support Engineer in our St Kilda Rd Head Office, your primary focus is to insert statement/sentence of the overall purpose of this role. This can include:

  • Provide Level 2 and 3 support on all hardware and software platforms.
  • Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
  • Design and deploy new hardware and applications and enhancements to existing hardware, applications, software, and operating systems.
  • Conduct research on hardware, software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
  • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware.
  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex hardware problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
  • Office and Sales setup
  • Experience with WinTel, Azure and Office 365


  • Excellent technical knowledge of desktop infrastructure, networking, and other hardware.
  • Comprehensive hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general hardware and software management best practices.
  • Extensive equipment support experience.
  • Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, software, and standards.
  • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Ability to conduct research into hardware products and issues as required.

Minimum qualifications

  • 2 years equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation
