THE OPPORTUNITY

Our beautiful and centrally located Baulkham Hills office is seeking a Regional Manager – Business Operations to join the team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the EGM - Business Operations, this role is responsible for the effective management of all regional Operational activities linked to the future direction of Simonds Homes. The key accountabilities of this role will be to:

  • Drive operational functionality by ensuring that business site start targets are met
  • Lead and motivate a team to provide exceptional customer service and client journey
  • Coordinate cross functional leadership groups to meet business requirements and ensure successful outcomes at a regional level
  • Manage workflow activities and staff resource to optimise productivity within the Operations team
  • Review, develop and implement agreed Operational strategies and processes across the region to achieve company objectives
  • Improve productivity controls to de-risk the business and improve the quality of departmental output
  • Coordinate ongoing meetings with Sales and Building Departments to discuss operational matters which impact the region
  • Create and enable cohesion cross functionally to enable resolve to the benefit of the customer, staff and company
  • Identify and arrange training and development for staff within the region
  • Undertake recruitment and performance management activities

WHO YOU ARE

We're seeking someone who has:

  • Proven ability in the development, delivery and monitoring of key organisational strategies in line with organisational priorities
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to efficiently manage high level change
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and consultation skills, in addition to expertise in providing high level advice on a range of complex matters
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a strong leadership team
  • Industry knowledge, relevant operational experience and an understanding of workflow processes and procedures
  • Ability to coordinate and implement business strategies and comprehend budgets and data
