THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for qualified and experienced Trainers and Assessors the deliver the Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling on a contract basis around the Melbourne area. Full time hours may also be available to the right candidate.

Reporting to the Training Manager - Operations, we have a range of days available for teaching (8:30am to 5:00pm) which may take place in either our simulated workplace training environments or in the workplace itself.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• The delivery and assessment of the CPC31311 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling qualification in part or full
• The delivery and assessment of the CPC31411 - Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing qualification in part or full
• Consulting with key clients on their existing and future workforce training needs
• The review, validation, moderation and continuous improvement of the training resources and assessments for the qualifications above

WHO YOU ARE

To be considered for this role, you must hold/be:
• Recent industry experience (of at least 5 years and current)
• CPC31311 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent qualifications or have sufficient and current vocational competence that would allow for a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process to be completed
• CPC31411 - Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing or equivalent qualifications or have sufficient and current vocational competence that would allow for a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process to be completed
• TAE40110 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Able to work as a Sole Trader with a current ABN
• A current drivers licence; and
• Demonstrated ability in high level communication, negotiation and consultation skills and expertise in providing high level advice on a range of complex matters
• Self-motivated and confident; have a positive attitude and willingness to embrace change
• Strong relationship building skills with expertise in the effective management of diverse internal and external stakeholder groups
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
• Sound knowledge of operational requirements in relation to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations.

You will possess an interest in imparting your industry knowledge to those eager to learn and expand their Wall and Floor Tiling and Waterproofing careers. You have a strong customer focus, and the ability to multi-task and be flexible and adaptable in your approach.

You will be an exceptional communicator, who is able to work well both autonomously and in a team environment. The capability to build rapport and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are crucial to the role.
