THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced Sales Estimator to join our awesome Operations team, to be based at of either our Springvale, Wonthaggi, Traralgon or Bairnsdale office. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. As a Sales Estimator, some key accountabilities of the role can include:

  • Providing accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
  • Complete set tasks and achieve job targets within designated time frames
  • Obtain relevant quotes and pricing (non-standard)
  • Offer technical support to team members and sales staff
  • Maintain organised files and appropriate documentation of completed work
  • Provide support to site supervisors

WHO YOU ARE

Whilst on-the-job training and support will be provided, we're seeking someone with a minimum of two years sales estimating experience within volume residential construction. A tertiary/TAFE building qualification in residential building, production and/or estimating would also be highly advantageous.

In addition, knowledge of Residential Building Code and Australian Standards, building industry product knowledge, and competency in using estimating software is required, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator and able to work cohesively within a team in order to achieve set targets and KPIs. High attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills is also required.
